It's 1990, and Hogwarts, known for its occasional strange occurances, has encountered one of its weirdest yet: one day, out of nowhere, every queer student in fourth year and above turned blue. No one knows how or why it happened, or why it only affected the students in higher years, but the pandemonium that ensued swept the school. Incidents of bullying rose sharply; some parents sent howlers to their affected children, some letters of love and support. One thing was for sure- with the effects lasting a week, there was no hiding for any queer students anymore.
Midway through the pandemonium, a pleasantly azure Albus Dumbledore got the affected students together for a sort of support group for those now colloquially known as "the blues". Even with their skin back to normal, the network of journals Dumbledore started for the students helps them deal with the continuing ramifications from the event.
Am I Blue is a group PSL that focuses on the lives of queer students at Hogwarts in 1990. We're looking for all sorts to jump on board and play with us- canon and OCs both welcome!

Very slowly, I'm starting to understand this Tumblr beast.

ETA: I'm a horrible person and I want to start an HP PSL based around the statement "It is often said that if all gay people were to turn blue, we would be shocked by all the blue faces." This is why I didn't let myself play a gay character for years. Horrible plot bunnies arise.
